2 kilos of shabu seized in Binondo

Agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested a suspected Filipino-Chinese drug trafficker and seized two kilos of shabu during an entrapment operation in Binondo, Manila the other night.
Chief Superintendent Francisco Zubia Jr., CIDG director identified the arrested suspect as Eric Lee of 1206 Plaza II, Dela Rosa street, Makati City.
Seized from him were over two kilos of shabu worth P4 million which he was about to hand to police undercover agents headed by Superintendent Eduardo Acierto, of the CIDGs Special Operations Office, in front of the Binondo church, Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Zubia said Lees arrest was part of the continuing campaign by the CIDG against organized crime particularly drug trafficking under "Operation Plan Big Berta."
The operation was conducted by the CIDG to track down and apprehend drug traffickers in the country. Jaime Laude
