P96T shabu seized

CEBU, Philippines - Operatives of the Basak-Marigondon Police Station 4 confiscated shabu items, estimated to be worth P96,000, after arresting a drug pushing suspect in a buy-bust operation at sitio Atabay of Barangay Agus in Lapu-Lapu City last Thursday afternoon.

The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Pepard Sagarino, was arrested as soon as he handed the illegal drugs to a police poseur buyer for P200. Seized from him were three small sachets and three medium packs of shabu, P500 cash and the P200 marked money.

Police Officer 3 Antonio Inihao Jr., case investigator, said the police team was head by Inspector Alcon Escusora.

Sagarino, a “level 3 drug pusher,” was previously arrested and jailed for another case of illegal drugs. He is now detained also at the police station’s detention cell, facing charges of violation of the dangerous drugs law. —Christell Fatima M. Tudtud (FREEMAN)
