The six separate resolutions were sponsored by Councilor Edward Alesna, who is the chairman of the Committee on Appropriations, Budget Management, Ways and Means.

Among the projects identified in the approved measures are the concrete line canal in Lawaan I; the repair and repainting of concrete lane separator on N. "The City Mayor as father and overseer of the needs of the people of the City of Talisay, calls upon us, Sangguniang Panlungsod, to associate with him for support of his authorization," Alesna said, adding that the projects and items were obtained at lowest, best and most advantageous deals on the part of the government.

Alesna also said the Bids and Awards Committee already submitted a BAC resolution that recommends for the approval for the establishment of procuring unit through Alternative Mode of Procurement – Negotiated Procurement in accordance with RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.  (FREEMAN)
