Man falls in drug bust

CEBU, Philippines – A 30-year-old man was arrested in a buy-bust operation Saturday in Sitio Datag, Barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.

Police seized two small packs another medium size of suspected illegal shabu from Hedrich Taghoy, resident of Sitio Looc in the said barangay.

Taghoy was nabbed when police confirmed his illegal trade when an officer posed as a decoy buyer.

Aside from confiscated drugs, the P200 marked money was recovered as well as another P200 believed to be proceeds of his trade.

The recovered items were brought to PNP Crime Laboratory for examination while the suspect, who is now detained at Lapu-Lapu City Detention Cell, will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
