Robbers hit agrivet store
CEBU, Philippines – The Pacifica Agrivet Supplies in Barangay Bakilid, Mandaue City is the latest victim of motorcycle-riding men-in-tandem.
At around 6:15 p.m. last Monday, three unidentified suspects onboard two separate motorcycles robbed and carted away P1,800 cash and tablet owned by the supervisor of Pacifica.
According to the store personnel Elexes Caballes, 27, the branch clerk, Antonio Tagubasi Jr., 25, salesman Rafael Canete and other salesmen, all three suspects were wearing full-face helmets color red, white and black with blue stripes when two of them robbed the store while the other one served as a lookout.
Once inside the store, the two suspects who were both armed with a .38 caliber revolvers, aimed their firearms at the suspect and said in the vernacular "ayaw lang mo og palag, kwarta lang amo tuyo" as one of the suspects went directly to the cashier's booth and took their P1,800 earnings and a tablet of undetermined amount owned by Jackson Brua.
Both suspects hurriedly left and sped off towards Barangay Cabancalan.
The latest heist was also recorded by a CCTV camera which the Mandaue City government has set in strategic areas in the city.
