4 arrested for drugs
CEBU, Philippines - Four persons were arrested when elements of the Subangdaku Police Station served search warrants against them around 2 a.m. yesterday in Sitio Molok, Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Armed with a search warrant signed by Executive RTC Branch 56 Judge Teresita Barquez-Galanida, operatives of the Subangdaku police led by its station chief Police Senior Inspector Miguel Andeza arrested the four suspects who were just living in one roof.
The suspects were identified as Domingo Saberon Jr., 37; his sister Jenivel Saberon, 25, single; and couple Grace Saberon Cobeda, 32 and Harold Cobeda, 34.
During the serving, the police were able to seize one medium pack of suspected shabu, three small packs of the same drugs, three P100 bills,10 cellular phones and shabu sniffing paraphernalia inside their residence.
In an interview, Senior Police Officer 2 Dindo Montesclaros, investigator at the station, said the siblings were new to the illegal drug trade.
All four suspects are now detained at the Subangdaku Police Station pending the filing of charges against them in violation of RA 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (FREEMAN)
