METROPOLICE: Strangers shoot man dead
CEBU, Philippines - A man was shot dead by two strangers Thursday noon in Sitio Kalubihan, Barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City.
The victim was identified as Randy Lincopines, 29, who is a radiator repair technician and a resident of Ramirez Drive, Barangay Bankal.
Special Police Officer Manolito Abellanosa of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office-Homicide Section said after Lincopines sent his daughter to Bankal Elementary School at 12:30 p.m. that day, he drove his way back home but was tailed by the suspects.
As the victim reached the entrance gate of a subdivision, the suspects onboard a motorcycle got the chance to drive close to the victim and shot him several times. Lincopines got hit in the right side of his face, right shoulder, abdomen and in his back. The suspects sped off heading to the crossroads of Bankal and Pajac escaping from the responding police.
Sarah Mae, the victim's wife, said his husband is hot tempered and somebody might have grown grudge against him which was believed to be the motive of the crime. Her husband was rushed to the Mactan Doctor's Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. (FREEMAN)
