Woman hangs self
CEBU, Philippines - A woman, believed to have committed suicide, was found lifeless Sunday morning in her room in Sitio Sto. Nino in Barangay Labogon, Mandaue City.
She allegedly tied her neck with a use of a piece of clothing attached to a beam.
Wilyn Aljas, 23, with live-in partner, was found lifeless by her younger sister Wilva, who noticed that her older sister has not come out of her room since Saturday night after a heated argument with his live-in partner.
She immediately called for help from neighbors, who then forcibly opened the room's door and helped cut the cloth and applied first-aid on the victim but to no avail.
Further investigation disclosed the victim already attempted to commit suicide before but her sister was able to immediately rescue her.
Her cadaver was fetched by the Cebu Rolling Hills Funeral Parlor.
