'Molester' hogtied

CEBU, Philippines - A 26-year-old man was cornered and was tied up with rope before he was turned over to the police after a victim he allegedly molested shouted for help Wednesday afternoon at Zone 1 in Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City.

Junel Bellino, 26, single of Tilhaong,Consolacion town was tied with a rope by the stepfather of a 15-year- old victim.

It was learned that the suspect was able to climb the fence of the victim's house wherein the victim was taking a nap inside her room.

Report said when the suspect was able to gain entry to the victim's room, he immediately touched the victim's private parts and kissed the victim several times in her cheeks, which awakened her.

The victim was able to run out of her room and shouted for help which prompted the stepfather to grab the suspect and tie him before calling on neighbors to seek police assistance.

The suspect is now detained at the Canduman Police Station pending the filing of an act of lasciviousness case against him. (FREEMAN)
