Buy-bust traps four in Lapu
CEBU, Philippines - Another entrapment operation against prohibited drugs was conducted Wednesday afternoon leading to the arrest of four residents of Barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City.
The suspects were Jet Dumosmog, 35; Nola Jean Bucayan, 22; a woman identified as Ivhor Berdin, 31; and Placido Dico, 40. The first three are residents of Beauty in the Sky in Sitio Timpolok while Dico is a resident of Villa Amacan.
The buy-bust operation took place around 2:30 in the afternoon.
Police Senior Inspector Wilbert Parilla of Lapu-Lapu City Police Station 3 in Barangay Gun-ob led the police pack under the Station Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group.
As a result of the buy-bust, police authorities confiscated eight pieces of small size suspected shabu and another small pack of drugs. A P200 bill used as marked money was also recovered.
Other paraphernalia seized were two pieces of disposable lighters, one piece aluminum tin foil strip and a piece of tooter.
The four violators were captured and brought to Lapu-Lapu City Police Office for temporary detention.
They will be charged with complaints in relation to Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act or R.A. 9165. (FREEMAN)
