Drugs worth P60T seized
CEBU, Philippines - A group was arrested in Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning for allegedly possessing prohibited drugs.
Jenny Casinillo, Myla Boniel, Arnulfo Bautista and Demy Casinillo, all residents of Sitio Kalinga, Barangay Soong were detained after they were caught in possession of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation of Cebu Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Group under the Cebu Intelligence Branch headed by Police Senior Inspector Rogelio Pineda, Jr.
A total of P60,000 worth of drugs was confiscated during the entrapment.
Police recovered three pieces of small heat-sealed suspected shabu that cost P200 each and another three pieces of medium heat-sealed suspected shabu that reportedly cost P20,000 each.
A marked money of P200 was also confiscated.
The pieces of evidence were brought to the CIB office and will be subject for further investigation.
The four suspects will face complaints in relation to Republic Act 9165 known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act. (FREEMAN)
