Love triangle behind stabbing?

CEBU, Philippines -  A husband stabbed his wife due to suspected marriage issues.

Rabelo Villamor, 34, from Sitio Sudtungan in Barangay Basak, strucked his wife Anabelle Villamor, 34, with the use of a bladed weapon yesterday morning in Sitio Ibabao, Barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City.

Police Officer 3 John Carlo Jocutan of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office Homicide Section said the victim's brother Eduvio narrated that Rabelo caught his wife and another man inside a certain room.

With no hesitation, Rabelo attacked Anabelle with a sharp weapon and stabbed her several times.

Rabelo fled from the scene leaving her wife wounded on the floor.

Anabelle was rushed to Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital and was transferred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.

Meanwhile, authorities are conducting follow up investigation on the case.  (FREEMAN)
