Missing worker found

CEBU, Philippines - A construction worker was motionless when found by a woman yesterday morning meters away from his place of work in barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City.

PO1 Tiencenaves of the Lapu-Lapu Police Homicide Section said Jomar Hortilano, 38, single, a native of Masbate province showed four stab wounds on the face and on the neck.

He said no wallet or cellphone was found on his person and suspects Hortilano was robbed and then attacked.

Tiencenaves said the man had attended a birthday party at a canteen about 120 meters from his bunkhouse the night before.

Hortilano and fellow workers went to the canteen at 8 p.m. He left ahead of the group at 10 p.m.

His colleagues arrived at the bunkhouse and found Hortilano missing.  (FREEMAN)
