Two men in serious condition after attack
CEBU, Philippines - Two men were taken to hospitals in critical condition after being attacked by neighbors in separate incidents Wednesday afternoon in Talisay City.
Jonald Rosco, 19, of sitio Sambagan, barangay San Isidro was stabbed on the chest while asleep under a tree at around 2 p.m.
He was taken to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
His alleged attacker, Larry Lisondra, 47, was arrested after a chase and detained at the Talisay City detention cell.
Seized from Lisondra was a 13-inch knife.
Thirty minutes later on the same day, at sitio Kimba, barangay Cansojong, Jose Gabutan, 41, shot neighbor Ronilo Quilaton, hitting him on the side of the head.
Gabutan remains at large.
Quilaton was at a vulcanizing shop when Gabutan allegedly committed the crime. (FREEMAN)
