Brenda Batuto - The Philippine Star

CEBU, Philippines - At this early, the police in Talisay are all set for the start of the Misa de Gallo (dawn mass) on Monday.

Superintendent Resty Santos, officer-in-charge of  Talisay City Police Station told The Freeman yesterday that they are now ready for the dawn masses.

He said personnel will be assigned to the five big churches in the city, namely, the Saint Joseph Parish in barangay Tabunok, San Isidro Parish in San Isidro, Santo Niño Parish in Mohon, Santa Teresa de Avila in Poblacion, and Our Lady of Consolacion in Laray, barangay San Roque.

The police will be visible in these places to discourage anyone from committing a crime, he said.

He also urges churchgoers to be vigilant while in church. — (FREEMAN)
