Woman shoots drunken hubby
CEBU, Philippines - A drunken man was shot Thursday evening by his wife for pelting their house with stones in sitio Pobre Bungtod, barangay Can-asuhan, Carcar City.
Perry Saura was drunk when he arrived home and without apparent reason started to rain stones on their house while his wife and children were at home.
Afraid that the children could get hurt, Saura’s wife, Mila, tried to persuade him but the man was adamant.
At this instant, the woman went out of the house and whipped out a gun and shot her husband, hitting him in the abdomen.
PO1 Gerry Alegrado, officer in charge of Carcar Police Station said the wife fled with her children while the husband was taken to hospital.
As of now, the husband is out of danger while the wife will surrender to the police. (FREEMAN)
