Robber arrested
CEBU, Philippines - A suspected robber was arrested yesterday dawn at his home at sitio Pang-pang, barangay San Isidro, Talisay City after robbing a resident.
Ebenizer Repulledo, 35, resident of the place was arrested but alleged accomplice Rodrigo Raganas, of Peace Valley Homes, barangay Bulacao, Cebu City is at large.
Rosmann Cabo, 19, resident of sitio Dawis, barangay San Roque, Talisay immediately informed the police after the incident.
Cabo told the police that around 12:25 dawn yesterday while on his way home on foot along the road in sitio Dawis, the two men on board a black Honda XRM motorcycle arrived and armed passenger Raganas declared a holdup.
Cabo said the two men took his wallet containing P1,500 and his Seiko watch worth P6,000.
SPO1 Mikie Espina, SPO1 Yvonne Illustrisimo and PO2 Edwin Campomanes responded.
Espina told The Freeman that the suspects abandoned the motorcycle at a road in sitio Dawis, barangay Tabunok.
Espina said they traced the residence of Repulledo because the latter left his driver’s license inside the U-box of the motorcycle.
Repulledo told the police that his other companion is Raganas.
Repulledo also accompanied the police to the house of Raganas in Peace Valley Homes but was out at that time.
On other hand, Campomanes told The Freeman that they received reports that Raganas had been arrested five times by the Cebu City Police and Talisay City Police for robbery.
Charges were filed against Repulledo and Raganas yesterday. (FREEMAN)
