Paz to appoint ten people at city college
CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza will appoint at least ten people to manage the Lapu-Lapu City College.
The change in the management is attributable to the resignation of college president Dr. Tomas Ramos.
At the time Ramos was running the college, he was also managing the Talisay City College being its president.
Ramos is serving a suspension from work at the Talisay college while an investigation is being conducted for alleged unremitted amount of money collected from students, according to a report made by the Commission on Audit.
The contracts of the appointees will be reviewed after a year.
Radaza has appointed Dr. Faustina Atillo as president (college administrator) as replacement for Ramos.
City officials hope she can introduce changes at city college. (FREEMAN)
