Windshield smashed, taxi’s meter stolen

CEBU, Philippines - A taxi driver stopped by his house at 5 a.m. Tuesday for coffee, parking his vehicle on the roadside in barangay Cambaro, Mandaue City.
When he came back, he found the car’s windshield smashed and the meter gone.
Joseph Tuñacao, 40, married, was the latest taxi driver to fall victim to the same modus operandi.
PO3 Joel Osabel of the Opao Police station said the taxi meter was worth P7,000.
Tuñacao also lost his driver’s license and P3,900. (FREEMAN)
