CEBU, Philippines - A man died while his female companion was injured Thursday at around 10:30 p.m. when their motorcycle hit a car while overtaking it along M.C. Briones Street in Mandaue City.

Magpantay said both vehicles were headed towards the same direction when the accident happened.

Personnel from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation brought the victims to the Mandaue City Hospital.
