Man, 18, held up

CEBU, Philippines - An 18-year-old gay man was held up at knifepoint after accepting an invitation for a date from another young man yesterday dawn in barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City.

Jacinto Suico, a native of Bantayan Island, Cebu but residing at sitio Seaside, barangay Pusok told police a young man invited him for a date at around 12:30 a.m. yesterday while buying bread at a bakery.

After accepting the invitation, they went to a dark place, and there the young man declared a holdup.

Suico said he gave up his wristwatch worth P5,000 and his wallet containing P50. (FREEMAN)
