City supplies water to brgy. Maghaway

CEBU, Philippines - The Talisay City government now supplies water to barangay Maghaway, one of the mountain barangays of the city because the water that comes from a spring is not enough to sustain the residents’ need for it, Talisay City Administrator Richel Bacaltos said.

Starting the other week, every morning and in the afternoon, a fire truck brings water to the place.

Bacaltos said other mountain barangays have no problem with water.

He said barangays need not worry about the scarcity of water because rainy season is near. —  (FREEMAN)
