Worker hangs self

CEBU, Philippines - A 33-year-old man committed suicide after a fight with his live-in partner yesterday night in sitio Datag, Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.

Construction worker Marlon Cañada was already dead when found by his live-in partner.

According to PO2 John Carlo Jocutan of the Lapu-Lapu police station, Cañada was arguing with his live-in partner about family matters that night.

After the argument, the two decided to sleep in separate rooms.

When she woke, she found her partner already hanging with a blanket tied around his neck.

The man was taken to the Lapu-Lapu District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician. (FREEMAN)
