Lapu-Lapu City Hall worker found dead
CEBU, Philippines - A Lapu-Lapu City hall employee was found dead yesterday morning in sitio Capiles, barangay Suba Basbas, Lapu-Lapu City with a stab wound on her neck.
Flora Amodia, 52, single, of sitio Suba-Basbas worked for the City Assessor’s Office.
SPO1 Allan Pantaleon of the Homicide Section of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office said an eight-year-old girl saw two persons enter Amodia’s home and later heard a commotion. When the girl later entered Amodia’s house, she found blood stains, prompting her to inform her mother.
Amodia sustained a stab wound on her nape.
The police found Amodia’s home in disarray, theorizing that robbery was the motive for killing and that Amodia must have known the perpetrators.
Lapu-Lapu City Police Office director P/SSupt. Rey Lyndon Lawas has ordered his men to investigate the killing thoroughly. He wants results. (FREEMAN)
