Dead man found at seashore in Ibo

CEBU, Philippines - An unidentified man was found dead at the seashore of barangay Ibo in Lapu-Lapu City, Friday afternoon.

Lapu-Lapu City police investigators said the body of the unidentified person was found by a security guard named Ronald Englis, assigned to Wast Asia at Mactan Export Zone Phase I.

Englis told police investigators that at around 6 p.m. last Friday, he saw a man at a rocky shoreline in front of an export company.

He said the man is believed to be in his early 50’s.

Personnel of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation took the man to the City Hospital in Lapu-Lapu.

Dr. Cliff Canton, attending physician of the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital declared the man dead.

The man has moles on his neck, wearing light blue t-shirt with Cebu 3 star manufacturing markings, a sky blue short pants.

The body was brought to Surelife Funeral Homes in barangay Pajo for autopsy to determine the cause of his death. (FREEMAN)
