Private sector helps build classrooms in Lapu-Lapu

CEBU, Philippines - City School Division Superintendent Eduardo Ompad has expressed his gratitude to some companies based at the Mactan Export Zone Phase 1 for spending for the repair of some schools in Lapu-Lapu City.

Recently, a company at MEZ Phase 1 extended financial assistance for the construction of a day care building in barangay San Vicente in Olango Island.

Last week, Aboitiz Foundation, Incorporated signed a memorandum of agreement with the city government of Lapu-Lapu for the construction of a six-classroom building in Lapu-Lapu City High School in barangay Babag II.  (FREEMAN)
