Mandaue to carry out projects worth P90M
CEBU, Philippines - Mandaue City will implement five projects pegged at P90 million for the first quarter of this year or before the election ban on projects takes effect on Mar. 29
One of the projects includes the P8 million asphalting of the whole stretch of P. Burgos Street.
Almost 1,000 meters of Don Sergio Street in barangay Canduman will be concreted and at the same time a sidewalk and a new drainage system will be built. The project would cost P50 million.
Mantawi Drive going to E.O. Perez Street which is about 800 meters will be concreted. This project is pegged at P16 million.
The drainage outfall from M Ceniza going to Butuanon Bridge will be replaced with a new one. It will cost P4 million.
The continuation of the Mardonio drainage, concreting, and the construction of a sidewalk in barangay Maguikay will cost P10 million.
Jamaal James Calipayan said the city wants these projects implemented before the election ban for projects commences on March 29. (FREEMAN)
