Girl files complaint against “molester”
CEBU, Philippines - The 13-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually abused by a neighbor a week ago in barangay Lagtang, Talisay has filed a complaint in the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Talisay City Police Station.
The girl told PO2 Violeta Godinez that the neighbor dragged her to a grassy area where he tore her dress, tied her to a tree, and pulled down her skirt.
The man also took her wallet which contained P140, she said.
She also claimed the man covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
While the man was at it, a cousin passed by and saw what the man was doing to her, she said.
She said the man then ran down a slope.
Police said the man and his family previously lived in Bohol but left the area allegedly after getting into trouble there.
They went back to Talisay. — (FREEMAN)
