CEBU, Philippines - Naga City will forge a sisterhood agreement with the Cadiz City in Negros Occidental.
Mayor Valdemar Chiong, members of the city council, and some department heads have gone to Cadiz City to sign the sisterhood agreement to promote and foster stronger kinship, sustain the special friendship and mutual understanding.
The Cadiz city government had planned to visit Naga City.
However, Cadiz City officials failed to push through with the visit as it coincided with the general maintenance inspection of the Korean Electric Power Corp (KEPCO), which has a plant in Naga City.
Cadiz City is the third city to sign a sisterhood pact with Naga, which has sisterhood agreements with Batac City in Ilocos Norte and Cabadbaran City in Agusan del Norte. (FREEMAN)
