Luigi’s office denies Nerissa’s allegations

CEBU, Philippines - The office of sixth district representative Luis Gabriel Quisumbing has denied allegations made by former sixth district representative Nerissa Soon-Ruiz that he has failed to deliver the necessary services to his constituents.

Earlier, Soon-Ruiz and some candidates of One Cebu Party led by Rep. Pablo John Garcia were in barangay Looc in Mandaue City where she claimed that Quisumbing was hardly seen with his constituents and that his district office had failed to attend to their needs.

Sought for comment, district office manager Jessielito Perez said the reason why the office can not immediately attend to the needs of some constituents is because of the time it takes to produce documents required by the DSWD.

“Wa mi’y gibalibaran diri sa district office, apan ang tanan moari diri kinahanglan kompleto sad sa document kay pangayuan man sad gud mi sa DSWD. Busa ang uban mobalik aron kompletohon, so far naka-comply man sad,” Perez said. (FREEMAN)
