CEBU, Philippines - A woman lost about P100,000 worth of valuables to two unidentified burglars Thursday afternoon in barangay North Poblacion, San Fernando.
Elena Booc was at the chapel several meters away from her house when the incident happened.
Among the valuables lost were two Saudi Gold necklaces, three pairs of earrings, a laptop, four rings, and a bracelet.
Insp. Crisanto Abella, deputy chief of the San Fernando Police Station, said one of the two burglars remained outside as look out while the other entered the house.
Burglars reportedly gained entrance through the backdoor of the house and went directly to the master’s bedroom where the valuables were kept.
“Igo ra siya gibantayan. Paglakaw niya gisunod ra pud siya kay nalimtan man ug sirado ang mga pultahan,” Abella said. (FREEMAN)
