2 arrested for selling shabu

CEBU, Philippines - Two persons were arrested Monday after selling the banned drug “shabu” to a poseur buyer in barangay Guizo, Mandaue City.

Arrested were neighbors Marcelino Ouano and Armalyn Mapait.

Station chief P Sr./Insp. Wilson Abot of the police in barangay Basak said a poseur buyer told Ouano he wanted to buy a small amount of shabu, and since Ouano had ran out of the drug, he went to his neighbor Mapait to get some.

Policemen in the area saw Mapait handing something to Ouano.

As soon as Ouano turned over the alleged shabu to the poseur buyer, the police arrested him and Mapait.

Ouano also yielded more shabu when frisked.

Mapait and Ouano are now detained at the Subangdaku police station. – THE FREEMAN
