CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested a security guard for allegedly carrying an unlicensed home-made .45 cal. pistol and threatening to shoot a fellow guard with it Sunday morning in barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City while arguing with each other.

Benjamin Romanilla, 35, married, of Poblacion, Carmen town who is assigned at Shooters Arms & Manufacturing Corp. in Sacris Road, barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City was arrested after fellow security guard Allan Niel Castillano sought police assistance.

Subangdaku police station chief P/Insp. Ramil Morpos said both guards were assigned at the same establishment and had argued about responsibilities.

While arguing, Romanilla allegedly pulled out a .45 cal. pistol and aimed it at Castillano.

As it happened, a police car passed by and Castillano sought help.

Police found out Romanillo carried a service firearm and a home-made one that day.

He is now detained at the Subangdaku police station.  (FREEMAN)
