- Flor Z. Perolina - The Philippine Star

CEBU, Philippines - A Korean national, who reported for work at his dive shop in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning, found P200,000 and 50,000 won missing from his drawer.

Han Kil Hyung, 35, married, and owner of Toby Diving Center, located inside the Tambuli Beach Resort, went to the Theft and Robbery Section (TRS) of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office yesterday morning to report the crime.

Hyung said he suspects his former employee, who he recently fired, to have taken the money.

He said the former worker had a duplicate key to his office and knew where the money was placed.

The Korean national also lost a bag which contained his passport, identification cards, checks, credit cards, and the certificate of ownership for his KIA car.

The police found out that the former worker had left his boarding house in barangay Maribago.
