Fire hits storeroom, 2 houses in Lapu-Lapu

CEBU, Philippines - A storeroom and two residential houses caught fire yesterday afternoon in sitio Lower Kagodoy, barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

Damage to property was placed at P50,000.

Investigators said the fire, which started from a storeroom owned by one Alfredo Dizon spread to neighboring houses owned by Ruben Patalinghug and Dexter Pabor.

Ducks owned by Dizon perished in the fire while some pigs sustained burns.

Firefighters have yet to determine the cause of the fire.

No one was reported injured.
