CEBU, Philippines - A 23-year-old call center agent lost P38,000 to armed men in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday dawn while on the way to work at MEPZ II on a tricycle.

Marvin Anticamara sought police assistance.

The police said Anticamara was joined by three men on the tricycle somewhere in barangay Basak.

One of the men took out a gun, another a knife, while the third man took his money.

The police said Anticamara jumped from the slow moving tricycle without taking a look at the vehicle’s color or plate number. The tricycle sped off.

Anticamara also lost a cellular phone and other gadgets placed in a bag he left behind.

Anticamara said he is engaged in a small scale lending business and the money he had was to be deposited in a bank.

He said the driver could have been involved in the theft.   - THE FREEMAN
