CEBU, Philippines - The Mandaue City Police Office is now undergoing a weight loss management course in connection with the “Mabuhay Ka Pulis” program.
Mandaue City police chief Senior Superintendent Noel Gillamac, in his letter to Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede, said the “Mabuhay Ka Pulis” program seeks to address the problem of obesity in the force.
Gillamac has told Bercede that the Mandaue City Police Office will hold physical fitness exercises every Tuesday and Thursday at the MCPO ground.
Gillamac has asked the city council of Mandaue for facilities to be installed inside the MCPO compound.
“Mabuhay Ka Pulis” was conceptualized to help the members of the PNP to be good stewards of their own body, mind, and soul in order to fully reach their potential as the best public servants. – (FREEMAN)
