Man shot in front of wife

CEBU, Philippines - An unidentified man shot Sunday night a 38-year-old man in front of his wife in barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City.

Perfecto Limos, a resident of Villa Del Rio subdivision in barangay Babag, died on the spot.

Police said that prior to the incident, the Limos and his wife were talking outside of their store at around 8:30 p.m. when a man suddenly appeared and without any provocation fired at Limos, hitting him twice on the head.

Limos’s wife covered her face when she heard the shot and may have failed to see the gunman’s face.

Homicide investigator SPO1 Allan Pantaleon said the wife is still in shock and can’t talk to the police yet.

Found at the crime scene were shells from a .45 caliber pistol.
