Former Phl Air Force member stabbed dead
CEBU, Philippines - A former member of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) who drove a tricycle for a living was stabbed to death by a jeepney barker Thursday evening in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.
Rodrigo Ceniza, 49. a resident of sitio Seaweeds, barangay Pusok was taken to the Mactan Air Base Hospital for a stab wound on his body. He died a few minutes after arriving at the hospital.
Police identified the alleged attacker as Jan Mark Tariao, 23, a resident of sitio Nangka, barangay Gun-ob.
Police said Tariao had demanded money for his services from Ceniza.
When Ceniza allegedly refused, both men exchanged words and before long they were seen exchanging blows.
Colleagues pacified the two men.
A few minutes later, Tariao approached Ceniza, who was waiting for passengers, and stabbed him.
Tariao wasn’t home when the police came to arrest him.
