CEBU, Philippines - Two people, including a policeman, were injured when their motorcycles collided on a barangay road in Dumlog, Talisay City yesterday afternoon.
Elmer Saladas, of the mobile patrol alert team of the Talisay City Police Station, was rushed to the Talisay City District Hospital while Donald Tanoc, of barangay Pooc was taken to the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.
Saladas was on board his Yamaha Crypton motorcycle bearing plate GI1059 and was heading to the police station as incoming personnel of the day when the incident happened.
Tanoc was also on board his Honda XRM motorcycle bearing plate number GP5018 and heading to barangay Poblacion.
Rollon of the Talisay City Police Station said Tanoc tried to overtake a vehicle he was tailing but failed.
“Naapikihan na siya mobalik sa iyang lane kay naalihan na siya sa iyang gi-overtakan,” PO1 Gerard Rollon said.

The motorcycles are in the custody of the Talisay City Police Office-Traffic Division in barangay Tabunok. - THE FREEMAN
