Man wanted for murder case since 2009 arrested

CEBU, Philippines - A man, who has a pending warrant of arrest for a murder case in 2009, was finally arrested Sunday morning.

Richie Talingting, 23, single, a resident of sitio Ilog, barangay Opao, Mandaue City was arrested while standing near a pharmacy along JP Rizal Highway in barangay Basak, Mandaue City.

Talingting has been hiding from authorities since 2009.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Teresita Galanida of Branch 56 of the Regional Trial Court in Mandaue City.   - THE FREEMAN
