Man arrested for gun, shabu possession

CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested a man for possession of a gun and illegal drugs while drinking with friends yesterday dawn in barangay Cambaro, Mandaue City.

 Arrested was Kenneth Dignos, 32, married, and a resident of the place.

P/Insp. Ramil Morpos said a caller informed the police about an armed man who was drinking with a group of other men in the neighborhood.

 Morpos had theorized the informant might have seen Dignos show his gun to his friends.

 Seized from Dignos were a cal.22 magnum revolver and alleged shabu.

He is now detained at the Opao police station.
