Radaza deposits funds at VSMMC

CEBU, Philippines - The office of Lapu-Lapu lone district Rep. Arturo O. Radaza has deposited funds at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for use of city residents who will be admitted in this government-owned hospital.

City Mayor Paz Radaza told The FREEMAN that the funds come from her husband’s Priority Development Assistance.

She said the city government and the office of Rep. Radaza have been shouldering the billing and expenses for medicines of residents who are admitted at the hospital.

Lapu-Lapu City Councilor Alexander Gestopa, Jr., in a separate interview with The FREEMAN, said he knows the problems residents in islet barangays face when they are admitted in the hospital.

Gestopa said the agreement inked between the Office of Congressman Radaza and Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center is  laudable, adding that he learns about problems of residents every weekend when he conducts a clinic at Olango Island. - THE FREEMAN
