Luigi distributes 11 more ambu-vans in sixth district

CEBU, Philippines - Sixth District Rep. Gabriel Luis Quisumbing distributed Saturday 11 ambu-vans to eleven barangays of his district. 

The ambu-vans belonged to the second batch of vehicles distributed in the barangays in the sixth district. Nineteen ambu-vans were already distributed last year.

Each ambu-van costs P250,000.

The money spent for the vehicles came from his Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).

Recipients of the ambu-vans last Saturday were barangays in Consolacion town, Mandaue City, and Cordova town. 

Quisimbing said he hopes to give all 61 barangays in his district an ambu-van so that poor residents who cannot afford the services of private ambulances can be taken to hospital free of charge.

Quisumbing said that instead of his face, the ambu-vans will carry the logo of his office and the slogan “Sincerong Serbisyo sa Sixto Distrito.”
