8 police officials sent to new posts
CEBU, Philippines - Eight police officials in Lapu-Lapu City have been given new assignments through a selection officer placement board effective last Wednesday.
Such reshuffling is done to fill up the void created by police officials who take up schooling but primarily it is done to expose officials to all aspects of police duties and responsibilities, said Supt. Loreto Delelis, deputy city director for administration of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
PSInsp Jacinto Mandal will now be the new Traffic Division Chief after serving as chief of SWAT, PSInsp. Conrado Manatad is the new station chief of station 2 in Mactan from chief of station 5 in Pusok, PSInsp. William Homoc is the new station chief of Station 5 from chief of the Theft and Robbery Section at headquarters, PSInsp. Gerald Suquib is the new TRS chief.
PSInsp. Winston Penaranda Jr. will lead the SWAT and act as platoon leader of City Public Safety Company (CPSC).
Delelis said, the reshuffling has nothing to do police internal problems but is a normal activity.
Delelis himself just assumed the post deputy city director last month replacing PSupt. Clifford Gairanod who is now in the police regional office 7. (FREEMAN)
