11-year-old boy stabs older boy

CEBU, Philippines - A 16-year-old boy is now in critical condition after being stabbed by an 11-year-old boy Friday afternoon under the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in Mabini Street in barangay Looc, Mandaue City. 

Jeno Antolihao, 16, of sitio Bantayan sa Hari in barangay Looc was taken to the Mandaue City Hospital for a stab wound on the left side of his body. 

PO2 Joy Grengia said the 11-year-old was awakened when his family’s house was stoned.

The boy got up and grabbed a 14-inch kitchen knife and went out to confront the 16-year-old who he believed had thrown stones at his house.

While the older boy tried to grab the knife, the 11-year-old stabbed him.

The City Social Welfare Service took custody of the 11-year-old. (FREEMAN)
