Police in Lapu-Lapu assures peaceful 2012

CEBU, Philippines - Documents obtained by The FREEMAN showed that crimes of physical Injuries and theft and robbery emerged highest for calendar year 2010 and 2011 in Lapu-Lapu City.

But Lapu-Lapu police chief Senior Superintendent Anthony Obenza said that with the addition of PNP personnel and consistent support of the city government of Lapu-Lapu, these crimes will be significantly addressed this year.

For Calendar Year 2012, a reinforced Lapu-Lapu City Police Office promises a more peaceful Lapu-Lapu City and greater economic opportunities.

City Mayor Paz Radaza has assured full support to the needs of the police office.

Last year, police stations were fully activated with minimum required personnel strength. (FREEMAN)
