CEBU, Philippines - A man wanted for an alleged theft case was in his underwear when arrested by policemen from the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
Ruel Saloman, 35, married, is facing a theft case for allegedly embezzling P2 million from a company in barangay Bakilid, Mandaue City where he once was employed.
POI Francisco Rustia, warrant server for the LLCPO, said he pretended to be Saloman’s neighbor and was to fetch water.
As Saloman opened the door of his rented house in sitio Kawayanan in barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City, Rustia grabbed him and told him to identify himself.
He refused but it didn’t matter because Rustia came with Saloman’s former co-worker who positively identified him.
Saloman is currently living-in the house of his paramour in the area and was believed to moving from one place to another to avoid arrest.
He is facing a warrant of arrest for a qualified theft case before the sala of RTC branch 54 Judge Victor Teves.
Rustia said that Saloman was the former manager of Prima Sales Inc. in barangay Bakilid when he allegedly embezzled P2 million from the company. (FREEMAN)
