Disturbed woman climbs tree again

CEBU, Philippines - Twenty-one-year-old Maria Fe Fordadora, who climbed a coconut tree last month in barangay Canduman, Mandaue City owing to a nervous breakdown, was found up a tree again Saturday evening for the same reason.
When attempts by her father Feliciano to persuade her to come down from a Gemilina tree proved unproductive, the Bureau of fire Protection in Mandaue was summoned.
Firemen used an aerial ladder to pluck her off her perch. She did not resist and was later driven to the Mandaue City Hospital for a check-up.
Her father said his daughter’s medication was discontinued due to financial constraints.
