CEBU, Philippines - With the introduction of new courses this school year, the Lapu-Lapu City College hopes to see more graduates in the future.
Next school year, the college will get P8.9 million for its operation thanks to the city council.
This school year, the college offers a two-year trade and technical courses major in computer technician and electrical technician; and Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (BSED) Major in English, Bachelor of Elementary Education and areas of specialization in General Education and Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Major in Computer Technician and Electrical Technician.
Next year, city officials hope they can reinforce the college teacher education hospitality management, industrial technology and technical-vocational program for a high percentage of Professional Regulatory Board passers and TESDA National Certificate II, as a result, accelerate their employability and efficiency.
